
The National Security Unit's Instruction and Training Department offers state and private sectors in Israel and abroad training programs to enhance their operational readiness from security- and management-related aspect.
The department specializes in organizing training and instruction programs, seminars, workshops, and refreshment courses, in addition to training sessions that focus on ways of establishing special security units to meet security requirements across the globe. All the instruction and training programs are submitted to and authorized by SIBAT (Foreign Defense Assistance and Defense Export Department) and DECD (Defense Export Control Division).
The National Security Unit's Instruction and Training Department is a leading and innovative department specializing in a wide variety of topics. The department offers tailored instruction programs according to the individual needs of each client.
Delivered by National Security Unit specialists, these instruction programs include the following topics: laws and authority in terms of security, workshops on ways of managing security systems (time management, crisis management, performing in stressful situations, body language, and management of security units), surveillance and observation (undercover and operational surveillance), preventative sabotage, protection of organizational databases, control and monitoring of security systems, interrogation and questioning, loss prevention, security training programs for plants and commercial organizations and companies (hotels, shopping centers). The department is headed by Mr. Yossi Biran, a veteran of the Israel Security Agency. Mr. Biran holds a BA in Political Sciences and an MA in Law and is highly experienced in the field of security and security-related training. He is the head lecturer at the National Security Unit's College for Security Studies.
