Background:

Today, more than ever, due to increasing crime and violence, awareness and demand for qualified, professional electronic security systems is on the rise. Furthermore, today there is more awareness to the need to utilize security systems, and insurance companies and the police require that electronic security and control systems that can either be controlled locally or remotely be installed. The course on advanced security and electronic alarm systems is intended to qualify installation and service technicians in the field of computer-controlled security systems. The course is intended for candidates who either have or do not have previous experience. Course graduates are qualified to work as technicians and defense advisors. Each student will learn how to design, install, program, and repair these systems as part of the regular services.
Purpose of the course:

To teach how to operate electronic protection and control systems and their uses. Train and qualify installation technicians of advanced protection and control systems.
Primary course topics:

Designing, installing, and repairing protection and control systems; basic electricity and a review of testing devices; burglar alarm systems: computerized alarm systems, systems that comply with Standard 1337, detection devices, internal and external protection systems, wireless systems, connecting systems to control centers and command-and-control software programs. This is a unique course that comprises theoretical lessons and field training; closed-circuit television and recording systems: computerized monitoring and recording systems, cameras and monitoring devices, fixed and mobile indoor and outdoor cameras. This is a unique course that comprises theoretical lessons and field training; intercom: basic system design, integration of intercom systems in telephone operators, entrance-control systems, systems for commercial centers (such as shopping malls), command-and-control software programs, and control systems for agriculture (for instance chicken coops and greenhouses).
Target audience:

People who intend to work in the field of electronic security systems and advanced computerized protection systems. Two training courses are available: the first for students with experience in this field and the second for students without any previous experience.
Terms of acceptance:

12 Schooling years, no criminal record, and a personal interview.
Course duration:

The course comprises about 200 hours including the final project and field training. The lessons will be delivered once a week between 5:00 to 8:30 PM.
Graduation diploma:

Students who will complete the course will receive a course-completion certificate issued by the National Security Unit.
